Lake County maintains two courthouses, one in City of Lakeport and one in the City of Clearlake. The Lakeport courthouse is located at 255 N. Forbes Street and houses Departments 1-4 and all four Superior Court Judges. Criminal, Family Law, Juvenile, Civil, Veteran’s Court, and Jury Trials are all heard in Lakeport. The Clearlake courthouse is located at 7000 A South Center Drive and is staffed with a Court Commissioner. The Clearlake courthouse hears Small Claims, Infractions, including traffic matters, Unlawful Detainers, and Child Support matters.
